.Ex British Railways. It was sold to the Royal Navy and used (as Navy Yard No.556) as a stores van to HMS Enterprise at HM Dockyard Chatham.

Sold by the Navy in April 1981, the van was located on the KESR (KESR 131) until transfer to the RVR in 1995.
