Withdrawn by BR at Doncaster in 1968 it was aquired by Tunnel Cement Company and used at their West Thurrock works in Essex. It was loadned to the Kent & East Sussex Railway in 1977 for 6 months and purchased provately in September 1978 for use on the KESR (no 123)

Currently hopper doors are under renovation  (2008)
