Numbered 1346, it was initially used as a loose coach, but formed part of BR Set No 269 from June 1954. From November 1959 it was again it was again used as a loose coach until withdrawal in 1961 and renumbered 70201.
From 1975 it was used as an instruction coach (No 083181) at Clapham Junction.
On the KESR from September 1982 (KESR no 78) it was cosmetically restored in July 1986 as an ambulance car.
